Reflective Leadership Coaching

A form of “executive coaching.” My work primarily serves clientele in the nonprofit sector who hold leadership positions. The majority of my clientele are BIPOC leaders that are committed to social justice. In the past five years stress and burnout has affected community leaders in overwhelming numbers. If you are experiencing difficult challenges or burnout, imagine having a thought partner that walks with you in your life journey as you deal with leadership challenges. The journey in reflective leadership can be about clarity, transformation or simply becoming more impactful.

Capacity Building

Includes strategic planning, board and leader development, team building, communication, social enterprise development, work-load analysis and culture transformation. Nuanced problem solving may include, implementing a strategic plan, re-vitalizing the mission or evaluating impact.

Workshops

There are many possibilities for tailored workshops. I can craft a unique workshop for your team that caters to your specific needs. Here are some frequently requested workshops:

  • Desert Rain workshop – this workshop is specifically designed for nonprofit and community leaders experiencing stress and burnout. Its focus is on how to deal with stress, and how to calm the mind and body. This interactive workshop includes simplified Tai Chi techniques, reflection, meditation, creativity exercises and a nature or labyrinth walk. It will provide excellent self-care tools and techniques that you can use the minute you leave the session.
  • Organizational Culture and Impact (The SpecialSauce workshop) – this workshop is designed for nonprofit organizations seeking greater team dynamics and organizational impact. It incorporates essential elements of an organization (vision, mission, strategic planning) with cultural values and impact. This interactive workshop inter-weaves cutting edge materials with conversations and hands on activities.
  • Custom workshops – can be designed according to organizational needs. For example, some organizations have gained impact with “Communication and Trust” workshops  that strengthen work environments, innovation and trust.
